It is also mentioned that Solifenacin is efficient in controlling the symptoms of OAB as it has fewer side effects than other anticholinergic agents due to its high receptor selectivity.
Solistop-10 is indicated for:
Overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and increased urinary frequency in adults.
Treatment with Solistop-10 may be advised as monotherapy or in conjunction with behavioral therapy by a healthcare professional.
The initial dose suggestion is 5mg once daily, which may be further increased up to 10mg once daily depending on the patient’s response and tolerance.
Tablets should be taken with water and kept intact. It is advisable to take the drug once daily with or without food.
The dosage changes can occur in hepatorenal patients condition. Always adhere to the doctor’s instructions.
The side effects that are often noticed by patients and can become uncomfortable are dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, as well as slight drowsiness.
